a long time ago..

I still remember clearly what happened 5 years ago, i was sitting in living room sofa with my sisters watching tv, it was almost dark. I was still remember when the telephone ringing. me picked up the phone, someone said my dad involved in accident and the victim is injured and we called my dad phone and it was out of reach. we freaked out. we phoned the police and he said different thing. he said, please come to the office. it was very confusing, sad, full of hope and i barely can't feel my feet in the ground. my uncle drove me to the biggest police station and the officer said nothing about my dad. he did not know anything about the accident but he said there's one guy dead reported in another police station nearby.
i'm speechless. even the police officer said he didn't know who is the guy but, i'm so scared to the death. Then, we drove to other police station, along the way, i heard Adzan Maghrib and i prayed, i just want to hug my dad. i prayed till i cried even i didn't know who is the dead guy. all i knew is my dad was in his office. at the time i was arrived, i saw my dad car, parked in front of the station, once i was relieved and when i asked the officer, he said to me to sit down and he give me hot tea and he said the most heart broken word for a daddy lil girl. yes, my dad died that night. he got heart attack when he was in therapy.

now, while writting this blog, my goal is not to share about my shabby or shallow story, my goal is, Allah is not always answer our prayer. he did not let me hug my dad. i remember that one of my pray also, i will do whatever my dad wanted, what he said what he direct, i'll do it. but yeah, life didn't give you want you want, he give you what you need.

My dad passed away and my family is never be the same. i always envy my friend who still have their complete family. i'm more jealous if they close with their dad, because i don't have chance to be. i still need him to suggest me everything in my life, i still need him to be with me, i still need him to tell me what should i do, who i should marry, what kind of job is better for me? but no, he's not here anymore. he's out there.

But, life is funny.

I turned to enroll University with major my dad picked, i turned to love what he loved. i turned to learn language that he spoke. i become more like him and i'm so damn proud, i can stand still without him. me, who is very depending daddy lil girl.

I graduated the exact same day last year, 15 June 2012, 4 years ago, this date is nightmare, but i've finished my thesis presentation and my lectures annouced my graduation at the same time. Life is so damn funny.

I did all of this not for him. but for me. i want and always be the daddy lil girl. i don't want to leave that title, i want part of my dad is always part of me. i just want to always be his daughter. That all i can do.

The Obstacle of living abroad

Hello again!

I'm going to tell about how to prepare your self living abroad, well, may be i'm not the one who know everything, but all i share in here is only my 3 months experience living abroad. Actually, Morocco is 4 season country (don't be shock) even it is in Africa, but North Africa, 30 minutes reached by fery from Spain. Well, not only Morocco, but countries with four seasons is really different from my beloved tropical sunny and rainny Indonesia. So, let's start!

1. Weather
Check all the weather circumtances during your visit to that country. its important because if you're not get used with either very cold or very hot, it will be trouble for you to survive. Because if you get sick while you're abroad, its really painful. all the medicine is expensive. Moreover, if you from tropical country like me, it wiser to just lend a thick coat from your friend in your country and bring it also if you want to buy boots, buy it when you arrived, the price is more reasonable than in ur country.

2.Language.
Fluent in english is always helpful, but don't forget sometimes its not gonna work.because not all people fluently speaking in english so knowing the 2nd language of that countries also good for your preparation, buy small pocket of daily language will help you survived.

3.Food
Bring some spices from your countries and mixed it with ingredients originally from your destination country just to make your belly not reject the taste of the new food or simply eat something internationally.

4.Culture.
Understanding how the community works in that countries also benefit to survive. For example, the religion majority, the custom and behaviour of people, how to asked question to native, how they live in family, how they speak to older and younger people? how they study? and many more 5W and H. You can simply google it or read the news.

5.Embassy and Student Organization.
If your country have embassy in that country, get in touch with them. no matter what happend they are your guard in that country, visit them once in a while just to make sure that they know you're alive or simply healthy. However, get in touch with student from your country who studying there also beneficial, actually they are really excited if there will be new comers. they will help all the things you need and for the bonus the will become your guide while you traveling throughout the country.

Well, that's only five, yeah its not so hard to living abroad if you come prepared. cheers.

Eligible

In this cold rainy morning,i took train from Kinetra to Rabat with my fellow Indonesian after attending seminar about Indonesia Islamic understanding. Frankly speaking, we just knew each other this morning and every single time i know someone new they always asked me "what will you do after come to Indonesia?" well, fool me, i still confused to choose which answer will be the most honest and pure from my heart. it seems -me,being here right away after i graduated- was a very sudden event in my life. i really can't help my self to answer every question with very strong decision and willingness. yeah i want to work, but can i? and even i want to pursue my master, do i have eligible criteria? oh God, how could i respond all this question and moreover, responsible for what i've done?

"knock-knock,  hello, are you there answer?"

pertamax!

Tapi jakartans pada kebanyakan demo dan ngeluh, padahal 5 or 10 years later, itu bakal ngebawa kebaikan. bayangin aja, gw di singapore jalan jalan cuma ke Sentosa sama Marlion, cuma ke Ancol sama ke Monas kalo di Jakarta! there's nothin to offer in Singapore, but we have a lot of amazing place to offer but we didn't do much. SEDIH! Iya banget!

Q&A

found the result of my long time ago personality quiz, well, pretty much me.
Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.
Your views on education
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.
How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
this is me, 7 years ago. hahaha, gettin old is very  weird.

when it comes to besfrriends.

this is me, all along, sitting in the biggest library in south east asia, alone and lonely. pathetic? no. i'm working on my undergraduate thesis now and feelin akward while people who passed by together with their couple and friends. once i was thinking, this is the risk if you writing ur thesis in last semester bcoz all of ur friend do the same thing, ur gonna busy with ur self  but on the other half of my brain, there's still my friend with their clique who still together, but me? i'm just questioning the way i'm doing friendship with my friends. am i that weird and really enjoy my self when i'm alone but jealous if i see other people chit chat with their friends, because i want too but i don't have one and then again, i'm starting to questioning, do i have real bestfriend or they just good friend?

D-1

Narnia novel, Caramel pop-corn and hot green tea
somewhere in my heart, i'm still asking my self is it the rite thing to do? but i have faith in my heart, this will change something inside me, i believe that, there's always price to pay and the fees is one of them for having such an experience, stories that lasting forever, i just hope that this little step i made won't hurt anybody. i just hope that, this is the way i want to design my future, this is one step that i want to prove myself that i can, i have my family support, i have my own ability and that kind of thought spinning in my mind and my heart like crazy. D-1, before everything start to be fun, excited and adventurous.

behave

being single is something. i have to say, as a single after long term relationship, i have to say i'm tired and relieved. there's nothing wrong being single as long as you happy. single doesn't mean your lonely, doesn't mean your not pretty or the worst, nggak laku. in one edition of cita cinta magazine the editor wrote:

"single is one step of your life when a girl could gain something big in her life, focus on career, and achieve everything you want to"
Aquila Asia Magazine
so its the flipside and fortunatly,i'm thingking the same like the editor wrote, i'm single and i don't regret it, i still manage to have fine relationship with my ex so do i start to make new friends with others, there's no boundaries after all and i'm settle with that, less complain and dont care about other people life. I have bestfriends to hang out and sharing stories and in my last semester in college i want to focus working on my undergraduate thesis and spending time with my buddies but it doesn't mean i'm not mingle, but there's the limit for mingling too. i'm not gonna start mingle or respond to a boy who just broke up or not qualified with my type. as a girl we have to smart enough to choose our mate. that's all i want to say. since one nossy girl starting fire to me, i'm not gonna stand still and do nothing, after call the fire brigade, i'll make sure i shut her with tons of water first. *so happy that my undergraduate thesis proposal is done* Alhamdulillah.

term and condition

thru my almost 4 years college, i've been invited to attending my friends wedding, which is super weird for me, wedding while you still taking studies? well, year after year i try to understand. there r lot of reason why they are married and accept every term and condition they have, well that's a commitment while me still learning how to step on earth, some of my friends ready to jump to another life and it was awesome for me, to take that path of life isn't easy, you still young and yet experience-less but having courage to take someting beyond your average ages decision. i should say that i proud of them, i really do happy for them and blast their marriage.
eka's wedding
wafa's wedding
kak tara's wedding

kak rizky's wedding

towil and kak Gifa's wedding
Deli's wedding

Ainun's wedding
time goes on and i should say that, my wedding dress is better, i learn a lot from guest and adapt it to my own wardrobe. somehow if i don't feel like in the mood to dress up, i just wear jeans and kaftan, i know, its not appropriate to attend a wedding with jeans so i swear i won't do it and yeah, HAVE A HAPPY WEDDING!
